William N. Norton

Mr. Norton practices in the area of corporation and
business law, with primary emphasis in finance, business transactions,
and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Norton has been a partner in Shaw
Norton Degan since its inception in May, 2000. He began his practice
in Jackson, Mississippi, and moved to New Orleans in 1976 to join
Monroe & Lemann's corporate finance section, where he practiced
until 1993. From 1993 until the opening of Shaw Norton Degan, Mr.
Norton was Of Counsel to Gordon, Arata, McCollam & Duplantis
and Rice Fowler in New Orleans. He is a native of Jackson, Mississippi,
and is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Mississippi.
