M. David Kurtz

Mr. Kurtz practices commercial litigation, focused
in the areas of construction, appellate practice, eminent domain/expropriation
and inverse condemnation, oil and gas litigation, contract disputes,
and professional liability. He has appeared before numerous state
and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels, as well
as before regulatory bodies, and he has served as a special master
to the court in civil litigation; he also has extensive experience
with alternative dispute resolution forums such as arbitration and
mediation. Mr. Kurtz joined the New Orleans office of Shaw Norton
Degan in November 2002. Mr. Kurtz is a native of Hammond, Louisiana.
